The Friends of the Nature Center is an independent non-profit organization formed in 2006 to help maintain and improve the Nature Center and to ensure that it continues to offer area residents an opportunity to enjoy nature. Membership in the Friends is open to everyone.

    The Bloomfield Township Public Library offers a number of special collections and services for patrons of all ages and abilities. Youth, teens and adults will find books of various formats to enjoy in all reading levels. Listen to great books by downloading digital audio books from Overdrive and Oneclick Digital or listen to audio books on CD. Read books in large print and try our High Interest, Low Vocabulary (Hi Lo) books for children and teens.

    The Bloomfield Township Public Library is pleased to host the Bloomfield Hills Schools Visual Arts Program exhibit, Art from the Hills, May 14 through May 25. Students’ amazing artworks will be showcased throughout the Library so be sure to walk around. A special reception will be held on Tuesday, May 14 from 4:30 to 6:30p.m.

    Library hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:30a.m. to 9:00p.m.; Friday, 9:30a.m. to 6:30p.m.; Saturday, 9:30a.m. to 5:30p.m.; and Sunday, Noon to 5:30p.m.

  • 50th Annual Birmingham Village Fair - Shain Park

    Join us May 30 through June 2 for the 50th Annual Birmingham Village Fair held at Shain Park!

    The four-day event includes entertainment, carnival rides, games, prizes and food. The Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber, Birmingham Bloomfield Credit Union and Bank of Birmingham are offering a $5 savings on fair wristbands, selling them for $15 each until May 29th. Wristbands can also be purchased at the fair for $20.
