Friends of the Nature Center

The Friends of the Nature Center is an independent non-profit organization formed in 2006 to help maintain and improve the Nature Center and to ensure that it continues to offer area residents an opportunity to enjoy nature. Membership in the Friends is open to everyone.

  • Maya's Hope with Every Step - Charity Walk for A-T

    A family charity walk for has been organized by Nadine & Adam Kridli and their family in honor of Maya who has been recently diagnosed with ataxia-telangiectasi (A-T). A-T is a rare, genetic disease affecting children, combining the worst symptoms of cerebral palsy, cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy, cancer and immune dificiencies. Join us to help fund research!

    When: Saturday, May 16, 2015 (Register by April 27)

  • Annual Bloomfield Township Clean Sweep!

    Each year around Earth Day, Township residents participate in Clean Sweep. This is a weekend event for residents to clean up debris from the safety paths and roadways that is deposited in the community during the winter.

    When: April 18 & 19, 2015

    Sign-up: Print out the volunteer form from the website or call the DPW offices at 248.594.2800 to request one. Only one form per group is necessary.
