BHS Board of Education approves final 2008-2009 budget revisions |

The Bloomfield Hills Schools Board of Education approved the final budget revisions tonight for the 2008-2009 fiscal year. Changes in the District over the course of the year minimized the operating deficit, enabling a smaller than expected fund balance drawdown of $400,000 from a projected $1.9 million despite $4.7 million in expenditure cuts. |

Board approves agreements and adjusts salaries and benefits for administrators |

The Bloomfield Hills Schools Board of Education tonight approved a four-year agreement for Administrative Council members, and separately, terms for administrative employees not covered by a bargaining agreement and members of the Superintendent’s Cabinet. |

Eastover students build Green Box City |

They're playing with boxes to build fake cities at Lawrence Technological University this week ... and that's a good thing.
The university is participating with over 300 students from Eastover Elementary School in Bloomfield Hills to build a "Green Box City." The students are working with staff from Lawrence Tech's College of Architecture & Design to build a model of urban sustainability with things that are normally thrown away.
