  • The Biff was Live from the Haunted Corn Maze

    The Biff did a live broadcast at the Haunted Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch Saturday, October 18th at the Bowers School Farm. Biff air personalities at the WBFH broadcast booth included Evan Sacksner, Evan Brook, Harrison Parker, Jaron Kirshenbaum, Oliver Norton and Kent Davis. Broadcasting students from Avondale High School were also on the air. Supervising the broadcast was Station Manager Pete Bowers and Assistant Manager/Technical Director Ron Wittebols.

  • The Biff Can Now Be Heard on 89.5 FM!

    Rebroadcasting on WAHS, Avondale High School

    Avondale High School has had an FM radio station since 1975. For the last 12 years, WAHS has not be active with live programming while continuing to stay on the air with classical music piped in from a station in North Carolina. WBFH management asked the Avondale administration if they would like to rebroadcast The Biff on their station instead. They agreed and the Biff Radio Network began on October 6th with the same award-winning Biff local programming on both 88.1 FM and 89.5 FM.

  • Biffers Attend Radio Conference in Chicago

    Two Biff students and both managers attended the Midwest Regional High School and College Radio Conference held at Columbia College Chicago September 27th. The conference was sponsored by the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System and Columbia College's School of Media Arts. Attending the conference was Pete Bowers, Ron Wittebols, Evan Brook and Greg Margosian. Bowers was on the panel for the session entitled "Programming a Successful High School Radio Station".
