  • WBFH Off the Air Starting June 17

Return to Broadcasting Up in the Air
    Posted June 17, 2013

Due to the closing of Andover High School, WBFH went off the air June 17th and moved the station to what has been Lahser High School. The Biff will be temporarily located in the English wing for two years during construction of the new high school on the Andover site. The return to broadcasting will depend on the location of the station's tower and antenna since the current tower will be taken down to make way for new construction of Bloomfield Hills High School slated to open in September, 2015. We understand that our listeners will be disappointed when the tune to 88.1 and hear static all summer but we will return to the air probably in a couple months and continue our award-winning programming listeners have come to expect.
