Eastover is a student-centered learning community that values the unique potential of each child by setting high expectations, while respecting the individual needs and abilities of our diverse student population.

At Eastover, we aim to educate the whole child. In addition to a comprehensive curriculum based on the Common Core State Standards, students receive instruction in music, art, Spanish, physical education, and technology. Students also engage in learning opportunities that develop their creativity, compassion, and leadership skills.  Character traits are continually reinforced through our Positive Behavior Support program. Our Visible Thinking initiative provides a culture of thinking that fosters creativity, problem solving, critical thinking, and collaboration. Students are given opportunities throughout the year to make a positive impact at home, in the community, and beyond, through our school sustainability initiative.

  • Spring for our Troops

    Posted February 25, 2015

    Dear Families,

Eastover Elementary, in coordination with our PTO, is participating in a school-wide community service project called "Spring for our Troops." This service project is also done in coordination with a community organization called, "Desert Angels," which supplies much needed items for our troops who are deployed. The students had an assembly explaining the start of this project. Attached is a copy of the letter that went home with students. The letter outlines the project dates, a list of items to think about donating, and the date for our packing party. We will start our item collection on Tuesday, February 24th and continue this collection until March 12th. Our school is excited about participating in this wonderful opportunity and giving back to others.

Thank you for your time and consideration for this effort.

    Sincerely,

    Mrs. Crocker, Principal
