Eastover is a student-centered learning community that values the unique potential of each child by setting high expectations, while respecting the individual needs and abilities of our diverse student population.

At Eastover, we aim to educate the whole child. In addition to a comprehensive curriculum based on the Common Core State Standards, students receive instruction in music, art, Spanish, physical education, and technology. Students also engage in learning opportunities that develop their creativity, compassion, and leadership skills.  Character traits are continually reinforced through our Positive Behavior Support program. Our Visible Thinking initiative provides a culture of thinking that fosters creativity, problem solving, critical thinking, and collaboration. Students are given opportunities throughout the year to make a positive impact at home, in the community, and beyond, through our school sustainability initiative.

  • Winter Weather Dress for Recess

    Posted November 21, 2014

As we endure the colder temperatures, please make sure that your child is dressed appropiately (with gloves, boots, snowpants and hats) for the cold weather conditions. Students will go outside for recess daily. If the wind chill brings the actual outside temperature to 10 or below, then students will have indoor recess. Please be aware that the wind chill is factored in, as well as outside conditions.
