Eastover is a student-centered learning community that values the unique potential of each child by setting high expectations, while respecting the individual needs and abilities of our diverse student population.

At Eastover, we aim to educate the whole child. In addition to a comprehensive curriculum based on the Common Core State Standards, students receive instruction in music, art, Spanish, physical education, and technology. Students also engage in learning opportunities that develop their creativity, compassion, and leadership skills.  Character traits are continually reinforced through our Positive Behavior Support program. Our Visible Thinking initiative provides a culture of thinking that fosters creativity, problem solving, critical thinking, and collaboration. Students are given opportunities throughout the year to make a positive impact at home, in the community, and beyond, through our school sustainability initiative.

    Posted September 9, 2014

A big thank you to Church's Lumber Yards for generously donating all of the red cedar lumber to assemble the "Buddy Bench" on our lower playground. Also, a big thanks to Mr. Al at A.L.E.X. Laser Engraving for happily donating his labor to engrave the dedication plaque for the "Buddy Bench"! The kids love the bench and enjoy it every school day.
