From business meetings to athletic events, Bloomfield Hills Schools’ conference and outdoor facilities are available for rent to groups or individuals throughout the community at very competitive rates.

Conference Centers and Meeting Rooms
The Gary Doyle Center for Professional Development has state-of-the-art conference facilities available for corporations, small businesses, non-profit organizations, colleges and universities, individuals, or other community organizations. Located at 7275 Wing Lake road, near 14 Mile and Telegraph, the Doyle Center is easily accessible from major local freeways.

Through the district, our meeting rooms and training facilities can accommodate groups from 6 to 200 people. Catering and beverage service is also available.

Auditorium
For theater group rehearsals and plays, as well as meetings, training sessions, or business presentations that would benefit from a large-seat auditorium setting, both the Andover and Lahser high school theaters are available for rent. With a seating capacity up to 520, both auditoriums have complete audio/visual equipment and capability. A ticket booth and refreshment stand can be added and staffed at your request.

For sports leagues or groups looking to rent athletic facilities for a one-time or ongoing use, BHS offers the following facilities for rent:

E.L. Johnson Nature Center
Located at 3325 Franklin Road in Bloomfield Hills, the Nature Center offers a unique outdoor learning environment designed to develop and encourage ecological education and activities for the community. A beautiful new 5,000 square foot Visitor’s Center can accommodate classroom-style or theater seating with a capacity of 60 to 80 in the lower level. Rentals include various projectors and a screen, and internet plug-in jacks. Private group tours, guided ecological programs, birthday parties and other special events can be scheduled using the Visitor’s Center, trails and one-room schoolhouse. Charles L. Bowers Farm
The Historic Bowers Farm, located at 1219 East Square Lake Road in Bloomfield Hills, is available for guided tours, birthday parties, and group activities. This complete, working farm offers a unique experience to young people from all over the community.

Parking and Bus Transportation
BHS schools are located throughout Bloomfield Hills, and are conveniently located to provide spill-over parking and shuttle transportation to major events around the Oakland County area. Parking lots and the use of school buses and drivers can be rented at reasonable fees to ensure the guests of your art show, golf event, or other activity can conveniently park and ride.
