BHHS Blood Drive

Throughout the United States, there is a severe shortage of blood. As a result of such need, we are hosting our annual Blood Drive on Monday, May 6, 2024 from 8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. in the Media Center. Please encourage friends and family that are over the age of 16 to donate and help us reach our goal and save lives!

Lt. Col. Harry Stewart

Lieutenant Colonel Harry Stewart, Jr., a decorated military figure during World War II and one of the original four “Top Guns,” shared a historical presentation with about 100 fortunate Bloomfield Hills High School students. Social studies staff invited students across grade levels and various history classes to take part in the presentation, to see this living legend within our community. Stewart will turn 100 years old on July 4, 2024.

Project Prom:

Project Prom, a project created by BHHS Student Leadership representatives, is a part of the Wish Upon A Teen non-profit organization. Every year, Wish Upon A Teen hosts a prom for teens whose medical condition, treatment, or hospitalization makes it impossible to attend the prom held at their schools. Project Prom holds two events each year. Along with Spa Day, Fashion Bash is an event where teens have the opportunity to try on the prom dresses that are donated and that they will wear to prom. Without dress donations, none of these events would be possible! Dresses of any size are greatly appreciated, but larger sized dresses are needed!
