Bloomin' Preschools Curriculum

The choice you make regarding your child's early childhood education is among a parent's most important. It's never too early or too late to research your options. Fortunately, Bloomfield Hills Schools operates three Bloomin' Preschools in Oakland County.

Our programs are child-centered and use the Creative Curriculum approach to teaching. Students flourish in supportive, engaging environments. Teachers communicate regularly with families, and encourage enthusiasm for learning, the pride of accomplishment and the joy of discovery.

Both Conant and Lone Pine are fully-authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) schools. Our Fox Hills location is a Visible Thinking School.

13 Reasons Why: What Families Need to Know

Your children may have recently started watching the Netflix series, "13 Reasons Why", which has sparked a national conversation about mental health and suicide. The series also includes graphic themes of bullying, drug abuse, physical abuse, and sexual assault. These are not subjects to be taken lightly. Please read more for a few tips for navigating this new television series.

Suicide is never the answer. If you know or suspect someone needs help, do not hesitate to contact your neighborhood school staff for help. Another resource to utilize is the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 1-800-273-TALK or text: 741741.

Unfortunately, young people lack the perspective of time and permanence. Suicide is permanent and often the struggle young people face is temporary. If we can support them through the life crisis they are experiencing, they are highly unlikely to attempt or commit suicide. Please help us help our students by contacting us with any concerns you have. Thank you for your support!
