Bloomfield Hills Schools participates in the National School Lunch Program. Families that qualify can receive free or reduced price meals. Families that were approved last year must fill out a new application form within the first two weeks of school to continue assistance. Applications are available online at http://www.bloomfield.org/departments/lunch or in the school office. Only one application per family is required.
If your child has a severe allergy that could potentially require medical attention at school (i.e. a food allergy, bee sting allergy), please see the attached Allergy Action Plan, prescription medication form, and non-prescription medication forms. Your child's allergist or pediatrician will need to complete the Allergy Action Form (they may use their own form if preferred) and complete the prescription medication form. Both of these should be submitted to the Lone Pine office before the first day of school, along with any accompanying medications (Epi-pens, Benedryl, etc).
With your child's classroom placement letter you will also receive a first day dismissal form. Please complete this form legibly and thoroughly and send it to school with your child the first day. We rely on this form to ensure your gets home safely!
Curriculum Night will be held on September 13th. Please attend either session in your child's classroom and then join us in the gym for refreshments, PTO sign-ups and spirit wear and a special Lone Pine Book Fair!
On behalf of the Lone Pine PTO Executive Board, we want to welcome all new and returning families to Lone Pine! We are so excited to be PTO Co-Presidents this year and we have had a busy summer planning wonderful programs and events for 2017-2018. We are so fortunate to have a parent community at Lone Pine that is extremely generous with their time and resources, and that is committed to making sure our school continues to be an enriched and exciting place for our children, Despite decreased public school funding across the board, Lone Pine PTO continues to not only provide a wide array of programming for our students and families, but we are also adding to this list and continually evaluating what can be changed to make the Lone Pine experience the best it can be. Please support the Lone Pine PTO by joining today! See attached flyer for details. Please feel free to contact Jaime Ben (email@example.com) or Jen Frank (firstname.lastname@example.org) with any questions.
The PTO welcomes all parents new to Lone Pine to the New Parent Orientation on Wednesday August 30 at 7pm in the school media center. This is a "parent to parent" event so bring all of your questions and be prepared to learn all about the activities at Lone Pine!
