- The BHHS Boys and Girls Black Hawk Bowling teams have had a busy month. The teams competed in dual matches and the Oakland County Championship. The boys team is made up of Auden Kane (grade 10), Brendan Smith (grade 10), Ari Matzkin-Bridger (grade 10), Will DeMerritt (grade 10), Jorge Eduardo Toress Mendoza (grade 10) , Will Losier (grade 9) and Andrew Rumpz (grade 9). The Girls team is made up of Majd Almasri (grade 12), Varsha Ganesan (grade 11), and Maddie Bottrell (grade 10). Black Hawk bowling's future looks bright!
- The Bloomfield Hills Boys Varsity Basketball is on a four game win streak with a 9-4 record. Da’ron Mason (grade 11) leads the team in points (18.1 per game) and rebounds (6.5 per game). Carter Canfield (grade 10) is shooting well from the 3 point line and leads the team in 3 pointers made and 3 point shooting percentage. Canfield is averaging 13 points per game. Carter Hartfield (grade 10) continues to improve his point guard play. Hartfield averages 10.7 points per and 2.5 assists per game. Other contributors are Mason Hitchcock (grade 10) and Brennan Bies (grade 11). Both play the wing for the Black Hawks and have had high scoring games and are rebounding leaders on the team. Meyer Saperstein (grade 11) is a team leader and ranks first on the team in assists (3.9 per game). Ryan Hunt (grade 11), Anthony Ammori (grade 12), and Rocco Colosimo (grade 11) impact the team with their own individual contributions. They have helped the team in scoring, rebounding and defense. The Black Hawks look to continue to work as this young team grows and develops.
- The BHHS Boys Hockey team had a great start to 2025 with a record of 7-1 including 2 OT wins! Preston Lumberg (grade 12) led the team in scoring with 19 points followed by Dominik Dostal (grade 12) with 15 points. The season is winding down with only 6 games remaining before playoffs begin. Go Black Hawks!
- The BHHS Girls Hockey team had an action-packed month! The team attended a Red Wings game and spent a weekend up north competing in the Traverse City challenge. Impressively, the team managed to stay focused and perform well in their league games, going 2-1. Alia Somero’s (grade 12) four-goal game was a huge, impressive highlight! Birdie Parker’s (grade 12) 52 saves against Mid-Michigan was incredible. It’s no wonder the team is tied for 1st place in their division.
