Friends Second Saturday Sale. Saturday, October 10, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

The Friends of Bloomfield Township Public Library Second Saturday Book Sale includes thousands of books and audiovisual materials for all ages and interests, conveniently sorted into more than 50 categories. Friends members may shop the sale early from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friends memberships can be purchased at the door on the day of the sale. Debit cards may be used for purchases in any amount. Credit cards may be used with a $5 minimum purchase.

Family Story Time. Saturday, October 10, 11 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Families are invited to join us for stories, songs, rhymes, movement, and fun. For children of all ages and their grown-ups. No registration required.

Gentle Spaces for Adults and Teens. Monday, October 12, 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Enjoy a relaxed, sensory-friendly experience that includes an adaptive story time and craft, low-key games and puzzles, and soft lights and sounds.  This space is designed for adults and teens with neurodiversity or intellectual and developmental disabilities, along with families and caregivers. Come as you are, explore what feels comfortable, and enjoy a welcoming space to unwind and connect (if you choose). No registration required. 

Preschool Story Time. Tuesday, October 13, 10:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. Stories, rhymes, fingerplays, movement, and more for preschoolers ages 3 and up and their grown-up. Enjoy detailed stories, complex fine motor development opportunities, and increased independence. Registration for 3-week session required.
