BHHS Forensics Team Wins Big at State Competition!
This past weekend, 39 members of the BHHS Forensics Team closed out their 2024 season at the Michigan Interscholastic Forensic Association State Finals, in competition with 44 other schools at Kellogg Community College in Battle Creek. In order to qualify for the state tournament, competitors must have competed at a Regional competition or received a Pre-Qualification Bid based on a successful tournament record. The BHHS team had a strong finish, placing 4th overall amongst Class A schools. Two students won 1st place in their categories: Kendall Schulz (grade 11 - Dramatic Interpretation) and Julia LaBond (grade 10 - Informative 9/10).
