Bond Update - Fall 2025

Bond Update - Fall 2025

As we moved into the 2025–26 school year, work funded by the community-supported Bond 2020 initiative continued across Bloomfield Hills Schools. These projects were designed to enhance learning environments and support the future growth of our district. Below is an overview of the latest updates and construction milestones.

This summer, significant progress was made across many of our schools:

  • At our elementary schools, classrooms received new flooring, cabinetry, and millwork, along with fresh paint and updated door replacements where needed.
  • Conant and Way Elementary gained new student lockers to provide improved storage and organization.
  • Kitchen spaces at both Eastover and Lone Pine were remodeled, while Lone Pine also benefited from front landscaping improvements and a redesigned entrance to enhance both appearance and accessibility.
  • Bloomfield Hills High School advanced technology updates for staff and students, with refreshed devices and tools that were rolled out ahead of the 2025–26 school year.
  • The BHHS Wellness Center was completed, with a ribbon cutting to be held on September 12. Construction on the new ticket booth, gateway entrance, and home stand restrooms were completed.
  • A new secure vestibule was constructed at Wing Lake Developmental Center.
  • IA–OKMA completed upgrades to its secure front entrance and remodeled front office.

Bloomin’ West Preschool & Robotics
At Bloomin’ West, renovations added new classrooms at the back of the building to expand preschool and childcare offerings. Work also began on a dedicated space for the BHS robotics program, which is on track for completion by late winter.

Transportation Department and Site Work
Looking ahead, major renovations are scheduled for Summer 2026, including updates to the transportation parking lot and drive, along with improvements to the Eastover lot that connects to the transportation facility. These upgrades will improve traffic flow and site safety for both buses and families.

Upcoming Projects
In Summer 2026, the Booth Center is scheduled to undergo renovations. At the Franklin Campus, a remodel of the district’s operations offices is planned for January 2026.

We remain deeply grateful for the continued support of our staff and community as we invest in the future of Bloomfield Hills Schools.
