Celebrating Service at the Michigan Week Community Awards Breakfast

The Michigan Week Community Awards Breakfast has been a cherished tradition in the West Bloomfield community for more than 50 years, bringing people together to honor the outstanding contributions of local volunteers.

We’re proud to share that Bloomfield Hills Schools students helped make this year’s celebration even more special with their musical talents.

Jack Ganezer (grade 12) set the tone for the morning with a beautiful piano performance as guests arrived. From the Bloomfield Hills High School band, Lauren Swider (grade 11), Cole Whiting (grade 11), Nicole Andreasson (grade 11), and Laveesh Nithiyananthan (grade 11) energized the crowd with their performance. The event opened with a powerful rendition of the national anthem, performed by our talented choir students.
