Bloomfield Hills High School art teacher and visual arts department chair, Matthew Beauchamp, won the Teacher Award at the Tri-County High School Art Exhibition. The Tri-County High School Art Exhibition is a very competitive event sponsored by the James Pearson Duffy Department of Art and Art History at Wayne State University. High school students from Oakland, Macomb, and Wayne counties submitted pieces of artwork for adjudication, and jurors selected 120 works to be featured in the final exhibit. Bloomfield Hills High School did incredibly well, with 18 pieces of artwork accepted to the exhibition.
