How to Use StopFinder for Bus Information
Did you know that BHS uses an app for your phone or tablet that connects you to our busing system? It's called StopFinder, and users can easily download it from the app store for free. Any parent or guardian who has a child assigned to ride the bus can access it using a custom invitation sent to them via email. Once you log in, you can view specific information for your child(ren)'s bus(es). It shows the scheduled drop off and pick up times, location, and bus numbers. It also provides real-time information on the location of your child’s bus by creating your own alert zones with GeoAlerts, which will send notifications when the bus is near the stop.
Perhaps most importantly, the app can provide immediate messages via push notifications from our transportation department, such as if buses are running late, what the half- day schedule is, or if GPS is down. Furthermore, due to the national bus driver shortage, StopFinder is the best place to receive data about any changes to your child's bus route. If your child rides the bus, be sure to have notifications enabled in the app.
If you did not receive a StopFinder invitation from the transportation department or need help, please send an email to communications@bloomfield.org.
