Introducing Messages XR

Messages XR will be used for emergency notifications and other time-sensitive communications. Families are automatically signed up to receive messages from Bloomfield Hills Schools, their child's school, teacher(s), and other staff. Please take a moment to review and update your contact information in the Parent Portal (MISTAR). Keeping your phone number, email address, and other contact information current will help ensure that you receive critical communications. (Note: Messages XR replaces Remind, which was discontinued this summer). Messages XR is a one-way communication tool for text messages, meaning recipients can receive messages, but replies are not delivered back to the sender. Email messages have a "reply" option.

Visit the login page and use the same email address on file with BHS to login. If you don't have a password yet, click the "Forgot my password" link under the password box to set one up. Any changes to your email address or phone number should be made in MISTAR ParentPortal (not Messages XR). The district has started using the system, if you have not received a text yet, text the word "START" to 97178.
