The Bloomfield Hills Schools Distinguished Service Award is given annually to recognize extraordinary contributions and service by BHS teachers*, staff members, community members, parents, Board members, and alumni.
Anyone connected to the BHS community is encouraged to nominate an exceptional individual for the Distinguished Service Award and celebrate their outstanding contributions! This award honors those who have made a significant impact through leadership, dedication, and selfless service to our students. Do you know someone who consistently goes above and beyond? Now is the time to recognize their hard work and achievements. Submit a nomination today and help shine a spotlight on those who make a difference. Nominations are due November 29, 2026.
*Teachers who are nominated for the Distinguished Service Award may be elevated to be considered for BHS Teacher of the Year.
The nominee should be:
- An exceptionally dedicated individual who consistently goes above and beyond the call of duty.
- Supportive of the learning environment and support of the community.
- Someone with a minimum of five years dedication to Bloomfield Hills Schools.
- May be an individual previously nominated, but may not be an individual previously awarded.
