Pine Lake Park Dedication

Bloomfield Hills Schools, in collaboration with West Bloomfield Parks, held a special dedication ceremony on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at the former Pine Lake Elementary property. West Bloomfield Parks and Bloomfield Hills Schools arranged a 20-year partnership recognizing the importance of conserving this land for public use. BHS still maintains ownership of the land in order to preserve our ability to grow as a district.

BHS wants our families to be able to use this space for physical activity and community building, and we understand the importance of green space for our families. West Bloomfield Parks will transform the property into a new and improved park for both the Bloomfield Hills and West Bloomfield communities to enjoy. The improvement plan proposes parking lot repairs, updated tennis courts, a basketball court, pickleball courts, new playground equipment, and trail enhancements. 

The special event included a speech by School Board Trustee Tareq Falah.
