Fill Out The Education Benefits Form Today!
The Education Benefits Form collects information needed to ensure the school receives state and federal funding for education programs. Without this information, Bloomfield Hills Schools could lose important funding for education programs that our students need. These supplemental grants and programs have the potential to offer supports and services for our students including, but not limited to:
· Instructional staff (ex. Reading Interventionists, Math Tutors, Academic & Behavior Aids)
· Teaching supplies and materials
· Counselors and Social Workers
· Professional Learning for staff
· Parent and Community engagement supplies and activities
· Technology
Although this benefit is available to all 4- to 26-year-olds who are enrolled in the Bloomfield Hills Schools, applications will still need to be filled out for families with students in this age group that qualify. For example, if your household size is 4 people, and your annual income is $57,720 or less, please apply. If your household size is 3 people, and your annual income is $47,767 or less, please apply. Click here to see a list of household sizes and federal income eligibility chart.
Students who are already directly certified for eligibility do not need to apply. You should have received a letter letting you know that you are eligible. The direct certification list is updated every month, and students are added all year long. We send out notifications when the list is updated. If your family was missed or you haven’t applied yet, we are happy to get your application.
Please note the last page of the Education Benefits Form is the Sharing Information with Other Programs form. This allows households to potentially receive additional support for Pay to Play activities, field trips, and testing fees. Please scan and return the Education Benefits form to foodservices@bloomfield.org if you have a student that may qualify to start receiving the many benefits the Bloomfield Hills Schools has to offer!
