School Safety Patrol: Student Volunteers Making a Difference

The School Safety Patrol is made up of grade 5 student volunteers. Their primary focus is to help all children navigate school grounds safely. As young leaders in traffic safety, these patrollers educate their peers about essential safe practices and serve as admirable role models for younger students.

Responsibilities of School Safety Patrol Members:

  • Help monitor entry and exit areas.
  • Assist students at crosswalks (with the help of the crossing guard.)
  • Aid bus drivers in ensuring the safe transportation of students.
  • Walk kindergarten students to buses.
  • Transport student lunches to and from the cafeteria.
  • Take on additional leadership roles as directed by school officials.

Thank you to our committed and responsible Safeties!
