It is with mixed emotions that I share with you today that I will be retiring from Bloomfield Hills Schools as the director of special education, effective on December 1, 2023. 

It has been an honor and privilege to lead and work with the dedicated and passionate staff across our district, and in our Special Education department. Throughout my time in this role, I have witnessed the incredible commitment and tireless efforts we have made to improve the lives of our students with special needs.

I want to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for your hard work, unwavering dedication, and the genuine care you have shown towards our students and their families. The progress we have made, the lives we have touched, and the positive impact we've had on the special education community are testaments to your extraordinary service.

As I step into the next phase of my life, I have the utmost confidence in the continued success of our Special Education department and the incredible work happening across our district. I am grateful for the privilege of having worked with such a dedicated and talented team.
