  • The Board of Education appointed Paige Hill as the Associate Principal of Eastover Elementary School with an effective date of July 29, 2025, as presented.

  • Superintendent Rick West provided a Superintendent's Report.

• The Board of Education approved all Consent Agenda items. 
• The board business portion of the meeting included: 
• The Board of Education deferred decisions regarding the following items to a future meeting: 
  • Batista vs Office of Retirement Services Resolution
  • 2025-26 Superintendent Goals
  • Amendment to the superintendent employment agreement
• The Board of Education approved the tagline, why statement, vision statement, and mission statement for Bloomfield Hills Schools, as presented.
• The Board of Education approved an additional contingency of $350,000 to complete the electrical requirements in the robotics shop area, as identified by State of Michigan's Plan Review, and to be paid for from the Bond Fund, as presented.
• The Board of Education had a conversation around the Oakland County Parks and Recreation Partnership and the District provided an update. 
• The Board of Education convened a closed session in accordance with MCL 15.268 Sections 8(c), (d), and (h).
