The evening featured an inspiring panel, including Christopher Samp, Director of the Office of Disability Affairs for the city of Detroit. He was joined by current students from Birmingham and Rochester, a former student now studying to become an audiologist, and a parent of a current elementary school student. Although these individuals are not part of our district's specific program, their stories and perspectives helped strengthen our growing partnership with Oakland Schools and our regional colleagues.
