This week, the Conant school community is celebrating being named a 2021 National Blue Ribbon School. Festivities kicked off on Monday with a staff appreciation breakfast.
Superintendent Pat Watson, Principal Robert Phelps, and Director of Elementary Education Kimberly Hempton thanked staff members for their dedication and hard work at Conant.
Conant Elementary School was awarded a National Blue Ribbon School in 2021 (13 Michigan schools and four Oakland County schools were awarded this school year). The recognition is based on a school’s overall academic performance. Conant Elementary School received the nomination as an Exemplary High Performing School.
