The Dare to Care initiative, introduced by Superintendent West, celebrates those who go above and beyond to show kindness, empathy, and support within our school community.
Leslie Wroblewski said, "Cassandra is a School Social Worker as well as the Social Work Department Head, and she consistently goes above and beyond to connect with both students and colleagues. Most recently a colleague left the district, which created a temporary void at the high school. Cassandra immediately went into action to prioritize the needs of students and take on additional duties to ensure that students were receiving the services they needed. Additionally, when the void was filled, Cassandra dedicated time and effort to onboarding the new social worker and making him feel welcome. Her dedication to students, colleagues, and the district are commendable."
