David Zulkiewski Honored by the National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association

David Zulkiewski, Bloomfield Hills High School teacher, and previous Bloomfield Hills High School swimming coach, has received the prestigious National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Outstanding Service Award. Each year NISCA presents this award to five coaches nationwide. In order to be considered for the award, coaches must have coached at least 15 years, been a NISCA member for at least 10 years, achieved above average success as an aquatic coach, and shown leadership at the local level. 

Zulkiewski coached in Bloomfield Hills for 20 years, won 6 league championships, coached a state championship athlete, and played an integral role in more than a dozen All American performances. Zulkiewski currently serves on the Michigan Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association, Oakland Activities Association Swim Committee, and the Michigan High School Athletic Association Swim Committee.
