Employee Referral Bonus

Beginning August 15, 2022, through September 30, 2022, any current AFSCME who recommends a candidate for a bus driver or garage mechanic position will receive a Recruitment Bonus.

  • The candidate cannot be a current employee of the District in any capacity.
  • The candidate cannot be a current employee of Edu Staff working primarily for the district.
  • A $500 bonus will be paid after 90 working days for the new employee.
  • An additional $500 bonus will be paid after 180 working days for the new employee.
  • The referring employee need not be a direct hire of the District.
  • The new employee need not be a direct hire of the District.
