Instructions for Meal ordering for farm and nature center field trips

  • Create order sheet by the Thursday morning the week prior to the field trip
  • Complete your order 
  • If you do not receive the link call food services @ (248)341-5671
  • Fill out form completely
  • Please list the student’s full name with their corresponding orders on the last line

Meals for Field Trips Updates 

  • Meals are no longer FREE unless students qualify for free or reduced price meals (parents need to apply and qualify for the program)
  • Meals will be provided at the students’ eligibility level: elementary $3.40 and MS/HS at $3.90; free and reduced price student meals are both at no cost as of December 8, 2022 going forward through the 2022-23 school year. 
  • You are NOT permitted to ask students if they are free lunch or only offer meals to free lunch students. This is discrimination and against the law.
  • Money for lunches will be deducted from the student’s lunch account. This is the same account that they purchase meals from in the cafeteria.
  • Parents need to put funds on this account to purchase meals.
  • If parents send money into the classroom for meals, please send it down to the cafeteria in an envelope with the students name on it so we can deposit in their account.
  • Teachers will get the field trip lunches the morning of the field trip from the cafeteria in their building. Meals will be provided in coolers.
  • Return the cooler to the cafeteria when you come back from the field trip.
