Friday, September 24th, the FDA and CDC approved the Pfizer COVID-19 Booster dose to be administered six months after completion of a Pfizer series for specific populations. One of the populations approved for the Pfizer Booster shot at this time is people age 18-64 years at increased risk for COVID-19 exposure and transmission because of occupational setting. Education staff (teachers, support staff, daycare workers) are included in that category.
