Recognizing Reading Recovery Teachers

Reading Recovery, a literacy intervention program was introduced in Bloomfield Hills' elementary schools a quarter of a century ago. Today, it remains a powerful tool, empowering our students with individualized literacy lessons in grade 1 and serving multiple small literacy groups for students from grades K to 3.

Last week, Reading Recovery teachers were recognized for their dedication and hard work in transforming the lives of the students and sowing the seeds of literacy growth that will flourish for a lifetime.
