Bloomfield Hills Schools staff members, Deborah Glazer RN, District Nurse, and Alan Jaros, Director of the Bowers School Farm and the Johnson Nature Center, were recognized at the Greater West Bloomfield Michigan Week Community Awards Breakfast on May 12. The Greater West Bloomfield Michigan Week Community Awards Breakfast recognizes individuals for community service and volunteerism.
Deborah received the Jack Freed Emerging Leader Award for her work advocating for a healthy community and her work with students interested in the field of medicine.
Alan received the Environmental Stewardship Award for his environmental and conservancy efforts.
