Welcome Linda Swider as the New Administrative Assistant to the Asst Superintendent of Human Resources

Bloomfield Hills Schools is excited to announce Linda Swider as the new Administrative Assistant to the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources.

Linda graduated from Oakland University with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and started her career as a 2nd grade teacher. After having children of her own, Linda re-entered the workforce, accepting the position of Secretary for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program at Bloomfield Hills. Years later, she moved to the Human Resources Department where she has spent the past four years of her career.

Linda has been happily married for the past 20 years, having two children who attend the district. The family recently got their first pet, Pippin, a cockatiel, who is already “very spoiled.” In her free time, she loves to read, go on road trips, and although she hates heights, she LOVES roller coaster rides! She is looking forward to driving to the Grand Canyon in the near future!

Having worked for the district for the past seven years, Linda is excited to start this new journey. When asked about her new position Linda said, “I am excited to continue my career in Bloomfield Hills Schools and look forward to providing the best service possible to our staff and community!”
