After a rigorous interview process including three interviews with teams made up of teachers, community members, and administration, Ms. Radhika Issac was appointed as the new principal of Lone Pine Elementary School at the May 23 Board of Education meeting.
Ms. Issac brings a wealth of experience, with 25 years dedicated to fostering academic excellence and supporting student development. Known for their innovative approach and strong leadership skills, Ms. Issac has a proven track record of enhancing school culture and building strong community relationships as a classroom teacher, teacher coordinator, and administrator in Clarkston and as a principal in Ferndale and Waterford school districts.
Ms. Issac has a Masters in Education Leadership from Arkansas State University and a Masters in Reading Instruction from Oakland University, along with a Bachelors in Elementary Education.
