Superintendent's Welcome
Mr. Rick West is an educational leader with more than 16 years serving public schools in Michigan. He is currently serving as the deputy superintendent of the Troy School District, where he has worked since 2014. Prior to Troy, he served as the executive director for business services at Royal Oak Schools and as interim superintendent/business manager of Atherton Community Schools.
Mr. West has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University, along with numerous certifications including the School Administrator Certificate from the Michigan Department of Education.
This district has a tradition of academic excellence, innovative programs, and a strong commitment to student success. I look forward to working collaboratively with the inspiring students, dedicated staff, and engaged parents to continue this legacy and achieve new heights together.
