Sweetheart Dance (Grades K-8)
Back by popular demand, the Sweetheart Dance is taking place this year on Friday, February 15, at Bloomfield Hills Middle School. This is a great opportunity for dads, brothers, uncles, grandpas, etc, to show that special child in your life how much they mean to you. Enjoy music provided by a disc jockey, receive a commemorative photo of your group while enjoying cookies and punch. Fee: $26 per couple and $14 per child for additional siblings. Register for the dance today.

A special night is being planned for the young children in the district to bring their favorite mom, sister, aunt, grandma, etc. The evening will be an exciting sports activity night. More details will be forthcoming in the very near future; stay tuned.

Nature Center Summer Camps
Registration has begun for the E.L. Nature Center's summer camps! The camps provide programs for all age groups:

  • Ages 4-5 will enjoy Eco-Explorers and Nature Play camps. Kids will immerse themselves in nature and participate in activities using nature while learning about nature and animal habitats.  Campers must be potty trained and dressed to mess!
  • Ages 6-10 have even more camps to choose from! Kids can choose to participate in Junior Naturalist (learn about animals and plants), Log Cabin Life (learn about pioneer living at the log cabin), and Art in Nature (using nature as an amazing palate, kids will use natural building materials and make magic with nature).
  • Kids aged 10-12 are welcome to join Nature Inspired Robots. Kids will build their own robotic spider, learn how to program and give their robot a task. Outdoor adventures include learning about spiders and other creepy crawlers.
