Please be advised that Oakland County Homeland Security Division will be testing the outdoor warning siren system on Wednesday, March 27 at 1 PM. Do not be alarmed, this is only a test. Typically, tests are held on Saturdays; this is a special test in recognition of Severe Weather Awareness Week.
The National Council of Jewish Women, Michigan is hosting a Youth Media Contest open to all Oakland County high school females and identifying females. The topic is "What does gun violence prevention mean to you?" Submissions are due by 3/25/19.
