  • Community Partnership Committees
  • Participation in regular meetings and events for organizations such as Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber, Birmingham Bloomfield Community Coalition, and Bloomfield Youth Guidance
  • Realtor programs
  • Outreach sessions such as Superintendent Coffees, focus groups, and town hall meetings
  • School volunteer programs

West Bloomfield Township Public Library News and Programs

The Library's new Literacy Station has interactive learning games and activities that help students from kindergarten through third grade develop and practice reading skills they need to be considered proficient readers. Our new monthly Early Elementary Literacy calendar suggests at-home activities that develop reading skills schools are required to test. Come to the Library to use these and other resources to help early elementary students become proficient readers.

"Maker Mondays" are new this fall for students in 6th through 12th grades. Learn about robotics, compose music with analog and digital instruments and apps, and make some "high-tech Halloween" accessories. For a schedule of Maker Mondays, go to the online Event Calendar at www.westbloomfieldlibrary.org.

The Main Library and Westacres Branch will be closed Thursday, November 22 for Thanksgiving. The Library will close early at 7 PM on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
