The Andover and Lahser graduates of 1997 established the Compass Fund for Social Emotional Health in November of 2017, on the occasion of their 20th high school reunion.  The fund was established to honor six classmates who tragically died by suicide.  The Compass Fund’s primary focus is student social-emotional health and supports programming in Bloomfield Hills Schools.

Although the Compass Fund was launched as a response to sad and tragic events, it also serves as a symbol of hope, compassion, and community.  The Compass Fund was established by alumni from rival schools, who were proud to work together and create something to support a whole new generation of BHS students.

The Andover and Lahser graduates of 1997, along with the BHS Foundation, hope that other alumni and community members will contribute to this important cause.
