INDOOR SESSIONS OFFERED this November and December!

Don't miss the opportunity to try lacrosse!

To all middle school athletes now is the time to try a great spring team sport and get some activity this fall. The sessions will be held at Bloomfield Hills Lahser Fieldhouse on Sundays at 3 p.m. The session dates are the Sundays of November 15 and 22, December 6, 13, and 20.

There is NO CHARGE to attend these indoor sessions.  We welcome any player who is currently on a travel team (such as 13 Mile/Juiced Cherries) to join us.

For those with lacrosse experience, equipment is required. For those learning to play lacrosse  equipment will be provided if needed. There is limited equipment available so confirm with me you will need it.

The sessions will be coached by BHHS Head Lacrosse coach and current/former University of Detroit Mercy lacrosse players. A donation to the BH Lacrosse Club is appreciated so we can continue to offer the sessions. Parent/guardian volunteers are needed and welcome!

Contact Jerry Meter, BHHS BLax, at bhbhlax@gmail.com for further information. The BH Lacrosse Club website will be updated regarding Late Fall and Winter sessions shortly.  These sessions will be held in the turfed Lahser fieldhouse.

Middle School Equestrian Team (Grades 5-8)

Join us for the start of the new Middle School Equestrian team, which participates in the Michigan Interscholastic Horsemanship Association program (www.miha.org). This opportunity provides excellent show ring experience and is geared towards future participation on the High School Equestrian team.

During weekly team practices equitation skills will be polished and new disciplines are learned with the goal of competing in the MIHA district show. Team riders must own/lease a horse and have previous riding experience in order to participate. Team grooms will find this to be an excellent opportunity for observational learning and is geared towards future participation on the Middle School Equestrian Team. Previous horse experience is preferred.

During weekly team practices grooms can observe teammates riding and gain insight for future competition. Grooms will also have weekly horsemanship skill tutorials to accomplish and discuss with the group. If you have interest or questions please contact jhewitt@bloomfield.org or fill out the online registration form.
