P.R.E.P. Program

P.R.E.P. is a post-secondary educational program operated by Bloomfield Hills Schools for BHS students. The program serves young adults ages 18 - 26 who have developmental and physical disabilities.

To transition our students from school to independent living, we offer instruction in daily living skills, domestic skills, social skills, functional academics and employment skills. We also provide community-based work training opportunities in varied settings.

Through the commitment of our staff and the support of our families, the District and local businesses, the Bloomfield Hills Schools P.R.E.P. program is dedicated to helping each student become a Prepared, Responsible,Employable and Productive member of the community.

The students in the P.R.E.P. program offer the following services and products to interested members of the public:


  • Assembly and packaging
  • Parts and product assembly
  • Business mailings
  • Collating and sorting
  • Document shredding
  • Cleaning
  • Gardening
  • Hemming and minor sewing repairs
  • Laundry and ironing


  • Cookies by the dozen
  • Cookie Grams (with card and balloons)
  • Ellison press cut-outs
  • Banners
  • Greeting Cards

Prices for products vary. Donations are appreciated for services, but not required. Delivery is only available to Bloomfield Hills Schools employees. For additional information call 248.341.6386.
