Tuition Overview

Bloomfield Hills Schools offers families currently residing outside of district boundaries the opportunity to attend BHS on a space-available basis. The district accepts new tuition applicants in grades K-11 meeting the enrollment requirements. Once accepted, tuition students who maintain academic and behavior requirements may graduate from Bloomfield Hills Schools. Availability varies by grade level and school building and placement is at the discretion of the district.

Tuition Rate

Payment

The full balance of tuition is due on August 1st. If you are enrolled in the 10 month Installment Plan the first payment is due August 1st. Installment plan requires an additional $300 processing fee per student. The 10 month Installment Plan is due on the 1st of each month (August 1 through May 1st)
Enrollment after August 1 requires full tuition payment at the time of enrollment or enrollment in the 10 month installment plan. If you choose the Installment Plan, a $1,500 non-refundable deposit will also be due with the first payment and processing fee.
An annual deposit of $1,000 is due April 30 for existing non-resident students to secure continued enrollment for the next school year.
Visa, MasterCard, or Certified Check/Money Order required.
All payments are nonrefundable (tuition and deposit).

Enrollment

Students must enter with and maintain at least a 2.0 GPA, or equivalent. (Most recent transcript, report card and end of year report card for the last three school years required at time of enrollment).
Students must not be credit deficient and must demonstrate the ability to meet the Bloomfield Hills Schools graduation requirements.
Students must enter with and maintain satisfactory behavior.
Omission of information regarding academic and/or behavioral issues will result in termination of enrollment.
Transportation is not provided for tuition students. High school students are not guaranteed a parking permit. Lottery for parking at the high school takes place annually.

Tuition Enrollment Instructions

Review requirements to ensure the student meets academic and behavior requirements.
Complete Affirmation of Discipline form signed by current school administrator.
Gather required documents for enrollment - these items will be submitted when completing the Pre-Enrollment in step 4..
Complete the new student Pre-Enrollment Online Registration. This process will take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete and it is recommended to use a computer (a smartphone or tablet is not recommended).
Pay deposit and/or tuition as required.
