Quiz Bowl

Traditional Quiz Bowl is a game in which two teams of 3-6 players compete head-to-head to answer questions from all areas of knowledge, including history, literature, science, fine arts, current events, popular culture, sports, and more. The team that buzzes in and gives the correct answer first wins the points for the question. Quiz Bowl also encompasses a wider category of trivia and quiz-related competition.

Quiz Bowl at BHHS consists of both intramural and travel competition. Every year in the fall and spring, teams compete against one another until only one team is left as the champion. The travel team also competes at statewide tournaments like the Autumn Classic hosted by the University of Michigan and the Rube Goldberg hosted by Michigan State University.

Teams can register for the intramural tournament by seeing Mr. MacLeod in room D205. Meetings for the travel team and Quiz Bowl players interested in getting more involved take place every Friday after school in D205.
