The week of August 16 through 19, 2021, Bloomfield Hills High School will be hosting an Orchestra summer camp open to any students in Bloomfield Hills Schools, from elementary school to rising freshmen. The camp is FREE, and no audition is required.
This program is designed as an opportunity for current or future orchestra students to improve at their instrument, meet other musicians, and gain valuable experience playing in ensembles. The four sessions, each from 12 to 2:30 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, will be led by BHHS Orchestra Director Scott Wolf, and rising junior Henry Jackson, who was ranked #1 in the Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association All State High School Orchestra in 2021 for violin.
Students are asked to bring their own instruments; sheet music will be provided. If you are interested in attending but cannot make all four days, you are still welcome to participate. Here is the Camp Schedule
. Interested students and their families must register in advance. Looking forward to music-making and community-building!
