Summer Reading Program
The West Bloomfield Library’s Tails and Tales summer reading program runs June 12 - September 3. Kids, teens, and adults can register online at wblib.org/summer to start earning rewards for meeting reading milestones and completing select activities. The program fosters lifelong reading habits, broader summer learning, and library connections. Registration is open to residents of West Bloomfield, Keego Harbor, Orchard Lake, or Sylvan Lake or non-residents who attend Lone Pine Elementary or West Hills Middle School.

Renew or request a card online at wblib.org or by visiting the library with proof of residency or student status.

All ages can enjoy this performance by Madcap Puppets as we launch Summer Reading. For all ages.
- Virtual Hop, Jump, and Read
Mondays, June 14 – July 26 at 10:30 AM
Read books, sing songs, and dance with others ages 0-5.
- Virtual Tune in Tuesdays
Tuesdays, June 22 – Aug 24 at 10:30 AM
Each week, watch a new family-favorite entertainer like Magician Cameron Zvara and the Detroit Zoo. For all ages.
- Virtual Camp Pencilpoint
Thursday, June 24
Learn drawing and laugh alongside the artists at Camp Pencilpoint. For ages 8-18.
- Virtual D&D: Animal Adventures
Mondays, June 28 and July 12 at 7 PM
Beginner and experienced players alike will enjoy this animal-themed rules-lite RPG. Characters will be provided. For grades 6-12.
