As November draws to a close and we complete the month of gratitude, I’d like to take this opportunity to encourage us to continue expressing gratitude throughout the year. Novelist and children's author Kyo Maclear wrote, “Each day brings new opportunities, allowing you to constantly live with love—be there for others—bring a little light into someone's day. Be grateful and live each day to the fullest," and that is my wish for you all. I hope you enjoy the holiday weekend.

Across Bloomfield Hills Schools this past semester, students have been hard at work to help our schools receive the No Place for Hate designation. An initiative of the Anti-Defamation League, No Place for Hate involves students leading the way, designing and implementing three activities over the course of a school year to gain the designation.
