Animal Sharing Day at Conant

“Did you know seahorses don’t have any teeth?  Their nose which is really a snout is like a vacuum and sucks in all their food!” shares Andre Fernandez, as he proudly displayed his project. “I learned about the life cycle of a seahorse, their food, habitat, physical characteristics and survival. Then we made posters, decorated our desks, wrote a book report and put together a movie presentation.  We worked really hard and they turned out great!”

“Each first grader picked an animal to research and present about.  We checked out books from the library to help us prepare. My favorite part was making a movie presentation about the bald eagle to show our families,” says Micah Schwartz.
