Helping the Community Keep Warm

Lone Pine Elementary came together to raise over $1,600 for THAW (The Heat And Warmth Fund)! "My teacher Ms. Lockledge is in charge of the Student Action Team at Lone Pine. We learned that many children and their families have to keep their coats on in their homes to keep warm," shares second-grade student Preeyo Randawa. Student Reyna Schwartzenfeld adds, "Ms. Lockledge promised to dye her hair purple if we meet our goal of $1500 by March 1. We did it! All the teachers and staff added purple to their hair too."  Thanks Lone Pine for serving our community!
