League of Women Voters/PTOC Candidate Forum




The BHS PTO in partnership with the League Of Women Voters will be hosting a Candidate Forum on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at 7 p.m. at the Doyle Center (7273 Wing Lake Road, Bloomfield Hills). This forum will allow all candidates running for the Board of Education a chance to speak and receive feedback from the community.

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization encouraging the informed and active participation of citizens in government. It influences public policy through education and advocacy. The League of Women Voters never supports or opposes any political party or candidate. 

To conduct voter service and citizen education activities, they use funds from the League of Women Voters Oakland Area Education Fund, which is a 501(c)(3) corporation, a nonprofit educational organization. The League of Women Voters, a membership organization, conducts action and advocacy and is a nonprofit 501(c)(4) corporation.
