Making a Snowman Without Snow!

Second graders in Mrs. MacLeod's at Conant Elementary are learning about the different states of matter and how they can change. Students created a snowman out of ice and named it Icy. They watched the snowman throughout the day and noticed it slowly melting. After 6 hours in a warm classroom, it still had not melted all of the way. The next morning, something happened - the snowman was a liquid! The students put it back in the freezer, and a few hours later...the snowman was back!
