The BHHS Poms & Dance team is looking to add new team members to their 3 teams for the 2019/2020 Basketball season!

  • CLINICS: Thursday 11/21 & Friday 11/22 from 2:45 - 4 PM
  • AUDITIONS: Monday 11/25 from 2:45 - 4 PM

Please wear all black to clinics and auditions. 

Please bring jazz shoes and gym shoes to clinics and auditions.

Female students who are interested in leadership and interscholastic athletics are invited to attend the MHSAA Women in Sports Leadership Conference entitled “The Courage to Lead” in Lansing from February 2-3, 2020. Further details and registration information can be found on the MHSAA website. The deadline to register is January 10, 2020.

BHHS Boys Golf Meeting

The boys golf program will host a meeting for guardians/athletes on December 4, 2019, at 7 p.m. in room A 103/104. The coaches will explain the practices, tryouts, and cuts for the 2020 boys golf season. There will also be an opportunity to meet the Booster parents. If you cannot attend but are interested in playing golf, please contact Coach Hayes at sthayes52@gmail.com.

Concussion Protocol

CONCUSSION PROTOCOL

1. A student with a suspected concussion is evaluated by the Athletic Trainer or one of the athletic training interns.

2. If a concussion is found, the student is referred to a physician.

3. The student is given the Concussion Referral Form which highlights symptoms observed and history of the injury. A parent will be called for transportation home.

4. The Concussion Referral Form is asked to be returned for an official diagnosis, return to play plan and any other accommodations recommended by the physician in order to communicate to others (staff, coaches etc.,)

5. Once the form is returned, the students designated counselor is notified of the students concussion. Parents/guardians are to notify the counseling staff if requesting academic accommodations.

6. The athletic department will follow up as more information is received from physicians on follow up visits.
