BHHS Girls Soccer Meeting

The girls soccer team will host a meeting for all interested students and their parents/guardians on Thursday, November 14, 2019, in the main commons at 7 p.m. Preseason and conditioning information will be distributed.

Black Hawks Win District Finals!

Congratulations to the girls varsity soccer team for earning the title of District Champions! The Black Hawks shutout Waterford Mott 4-0 on Thursday, May 30, 2019. Goals were scored by Sydney Huston (penalty kick), Sam Yamin (2) assisted by Sloane Marwil, and Sloane Marwil assisted by Sam Yamin. The team will play in the first round of Regionals on Tuesday, June 4, at 7 p.m. at West Bloomfield. Go Black Hawks!

Varsity Wins First Playoff Game

The girls varsity soccer team won their district playoff game vs. Waterford Kettering on Thursday, May 23, 2019. It was nearly a shutout but Kettering scored with 8 minutes to go. The Black Hawk goals were scored by Kellen Fife, Sloane Marwil, Sydney Hustons (2 goals), and Ava Badallo brought in the final goal. 

Girls Varsity Soccer Beats Troy, JV-A & JV-B Beat Athens

The JV-B girls soccer team beat Troy Athens 2-0, and the JV-A team beat them 3-0 on Monday, May 13, 2019. The varsity team beat top ranked Troy on Tuesday, May 21, by a score of 2-1. At the game, the five seniors (Lilly Formanek, Sydney Huston, Jenna Hart, Sloan Marwil, and Alexis Rillema) were celebrated on the field with pictures, balloons, and short bios. All three teams will be playing Rochester on Friday, May 17.

Varsity Beats Royal Oak, Ties NDP

The varsity girls soccer team beat Royal Oak on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, with a score of 2-1, and tied Notre Dame Prep with a score of 2-2. JV-A beat Notre Dame Prep 3-0 on Thursday, May 9. JV-B lost both games this week. 

Black Hawks Play Stoney Creek, Adams, and Participate in 5K

On Thursday, May 2, 2019, the girls varsity soccer team lost against Stoney Creek 1-2. JV-A beat Stoney Creek 2-0, and JV-B lost to Adams on Wednesday, May 1, by a score of 0-2. The girls soccer program additionally participated in the Mind Over Matter 5K Walk/Run to raise money for brain cancer at BHMS.


Black Hawks Host Community Night

The girls soccer team recently hosted a community night and games with food trucks, craft tables and free t-shirts for children. Children walked onto the field with the varsity players at the start of the game and did fun skill activities at half time. Varsity beat West Bloomfield with a score of 4-0! JV-A triumphed with a score of 8-0 and JV-B played great but lost 0-2.







Varsity Girls Soccer Beats Adams and Ties Groves

The girls varsity soccer team beat Groves High School on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, by a score of 2-0. Sarah Huston and Sloane Marwil scored.  On Thursday, April 11, they played against Rochester Adams. The score was tied up, 0-0.  It was a hard fought game. JV-A won their game again Groves High School 1-0 on Tuesday, April 9, with goal by grace Jenkins. On Thursday, April 11, they lost against Adams 0-1. JV-B played great on Friday, April 12, against Troy but lost the game 0-1.  Join the girls soccer program as they host a Community Night on Tuesday, April 22.

Black Hawks Kick-Off to a Great Start!

The girls soccer team has kicked-off to a great start! The varsity Black Hawks beat Chippewa 2-0, JV-A beat Chippewa 3-0, and JV-B lost 0-1 vs. Ann Arbor Huron. Come cheer on the teams as JV-A and varsity take on Oxford away at 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Monday, March 25, 2019. On March 27, JV-B will take on Belleville at Lahser, while JV-A and varsity take on Walled Lake Northern away at 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Go Black Hawks!

Honored as Athlete of the Week

Congratulations to BHHS soccer alumni, Christina Hickson, for being honored at Case Western University recently as Athlete of the Week

Christina currently leads the Spartans with five goals and 10 points. Christina also currently ranks tied for first among all University Athletic Association players with five goals.

4th Annual Golf Outing

The Bloomfield Hills High School Girls Soccer program hosted their 4th Annual Golf Outing on Saturday, August 11, at Sanctuary Lake Golf Club.  The weather was beautiful and all of the participants had a great time golfing.  Go Black Hawks!

Girls Soccer Camp

The Bloomfield Hills High School girls soccer program hosted their 5th Annual Soccer camp and more than 45 girls participated this year! The girls had a lot of fun and worked hard and learned a lot throughout the week!  Go Black Hawks!

Black Hawks Participate in 5K

The BHHS girls soccer program recently participated in the 7th Annual Mind Over Matter 5k run for Brain Cancer. The 5k run helps provide awareness and funds to help cure brain cancer. Well done, Black Hawks!

Middle and High School Girls Soccer Practices Together


On Thursday, May 10, 2018, the girls soccer players from BHMS, EHMS, and WHMS, joined the BHHS girls soccer program for a fun practice! It was a beautiful day and everyone had a great time and improved their soccer skills.

Girls Soccer Undefeated, Beats Stoney Creek



The girls varsity soccer team remained undefeated Thursday, May 3, 2018, with a key 2-1 OAA Red Division win over Stoney Creek! Goals were scored by Melissa Briggs and Sydney Huston, with Becca Hancock putting in another outstanding performance in goal. Their record moves to 9-0-1 overall and 3-0-1 in the OAA Red, good for a share of first place! The Black Hawks will be back in action Monday, May 7, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. when they host a non-league matchup with Anchor Bay. Read more





Black Hawks Undefeated, Beat Rochester Adams







The girls soccer team remained undefeated on Thursday, April 14, 2018, in their first league game of the season which ended in an exciting 1-1 draw against Rochester Adams.The game tying-goal came in the last minute of play on a corner kick from Christina Hickson that was headed in by Grace Jaksen. The team will be back in action on Monday, April 16, at Notre Dame Prep. The next home game is on Thursday, April 19, at 7:00 p.m. against Clarkston. Come out and enjoy a game!

Way to go, Samantha!









Samantha Ferry, now BHHS alumna, is making ripples in Louisville, Kentucky. She is off to a stellar start with her soccer team at Bellarmine University. On Saturday September 2, Sam scored the game-winning goal during the second over time to upset No. 2 Grand Valley State with a final result of 2-1 during the season opener of the Knight's Women's Soccer Program. This past Friday she scored her second goal in two games. We are proud of her and of the success she's having and wish her the best throughout the rest of this season and her college career.
